1804 Draped Bust Half Cent -- HIGHER GRADE SCARCE COIN!

For sale is a very cool 1804 Draped Bust Half Cent. The Draped Bust Half Cent was only minted between 1800 to 1808, and not many survived because they were so heavily circulated and a great majority were melted down for the copper in preceding wars. For being 217 years old there's no telling how many are left out there! There were several varieties of the 1804, and this one is the "Crosslet 4, With Stems" variety. That refers to the style of the "4" in the date, and the area at the base of the wreath on the reverse.
As you can see from the pics the coin is in great shape. It would come in at an early VF grade which is very tough to find Draped Bust Cents in. The date and all lettering are all present and strong. The coin does have a couple rim dings, which is very common with pure copper coins this old, but no major damage.
This is an amazing find for any rare coin collection out there--and a coin that was minted just 5 years after George Washington's death! Thanks!
