    Description

1804 Draped Bust Half Cent - Plain 4 No Stems
    - 1/2C - XF Detail - PCGS Graded! This is a true collectors coin due to it's condition and beautiful design. Hard coin to sell. Dings on obverse rim under date.
    See photos for condition.
    Note about the photos:
I owned this coin before sending it to PCGS to be graded and encased. So, the coin is a very dark bronze color (or dark brown). It's a really
    beautiful
coin, but I know my photos show it in different shades and I want you to know that it's more of a dark brown coin than a mid-tone copper color. Before it got graded, I must have hit just the right angle to give it the lighter tones shown in two of the pictures.
    NOTICE
: If you end up buying more than one auction from me in a couple day period, let me know before you pay so I can send you an invoice for all items and one charge for shipping!
I started collecting as a kid, thanks to my Grandfather who started me out with just 8 coins. I got very involved as a kid and into my young adult years, then packed it away and kept it sealed up in storage. When COVID hit and I was at home a lot more, I decided to pick up collecting again and I love it! I love the history and the artistry of the many designs throughout the decades and centuries.
With that said, I am tired of buying coins or lots that were photographed to hide the flaws or mislead in some way. With every coin I sell, I want to make sure you know everything I can tell you about the coin; whether it's through my words or photos. I want you to receive the coin with no surprises. Hopefully you will notice that I take a lot of close ups. Usually that is pointing out a flaw in the coin. The downside for me is that I have to compete against the glamour shots from other sellers who angle the lighting in a way to hide the serious flaw(s). If I sell my coins for less because of this commitment to integrity, that's fine...it's worth the peace of mind. I want you to know what you are purchasing.
Also, while I wish I could pay for the shipping (and sometimes I do on more expensive items), I would rather try and price a coin fairly low to start and hopefully we both win! Thank you for looking and happy bidding!
Ships USPS First Class. Please pay attention to the shipping charge so there are no surprises once you win the auction.
