This coin is an awesome rarity that would be a great fit in any collection. The half cent is one of those intriguing coins that outside the numismatic community, the vast majority of people never knew existed.
This coin shows circulation wear (which is very common in early US coins) but also retains a lot of the overall design details. Most importantly, on the obverse the coin’s date is very strong and visible. The bust of Lady Liberty shows solid eye appeal and still retains some facial features in her eye, ear and mouth.
On the reverse, the denomination “Half Cent” is very clear along with the wreath. Some of the outer wording and fraction isn’t present due to a combination of strike weakness and circulation wear.
This coin may show signs of cleaning or toning due to age.
This coin will be shipped in a 2x2 coin flip for protection.
