1950's SSS, JAPAN MITI PIONEER JEEP RESTORATION SET - ROBOTS & RAYGUNS - R-35?

Greetings,
For sale, I have a rare and hard to find set of MITI PIONEER JEEPS.
These date to the late 1950's and were made in Japan by SSS Toys.
These old tin toys feature what look like early images of the Masudaya R-35 Robot on the front fenders and the rear hardtops of the jeeps.
Litho'd on the interior of the jeeps are various other rayguns and other assorted equipment.
I'm not sure of the relation of these toys with Masudaya / Modern Toys, but the addition of the robot image on these jeeps seems pretty cool.
One of the jeeps is complete with that odd loading trailer (which does function well).
Both tin vehicles show age related wear - one tire is missing, thought the wheel is there.
The friction motors on the piece with the trailer works nicely - the friction motor on the piece without the trailer runs, but is a bit less smooth.
The Pioneer Jeep with trailer is aprx 14 inches long - the Pioneer Jeep without trailer is just under 9 inches long.
Here is your chance to add a great restoration project with these rare jeeps - or just add some really cool old toys to your space and robot collection.
