    Maker
    : This beautiful set of three salad plates is by B & Co., or L. Bernardaud, the classic Limoges firm that has produced exceptional quality porcelain since 1863 and remains a major player in Limoges today.
    The green B & Co Limoges France white ware mark appears on all three pieces along the L. Bernardaud red decorator's mark, which confirms that the plates were produced for Waring & Gillow of Oxford Street, London.
    Design
    : The pattern - which replacements.com calls BER84 - features vividly colored flowers, birds and branches against pure white porcelain trimmed in mustard yellow.
    Condition and size
    : The three 8 3/8 inch plates are in overall good condition with no nicks, cracks, crazing or significant wear. One has a chip on the underside edge; it's not visible from the front and is shown in the photo with the penny. All three have visible utensil marks so they would fit in best with a service that is already in use.
