Antique English Lace Bobbins

Description

Lace bobbins were used in the making of pillow lace in regions of the British Isles over the last 300 years. These ones belonged to my grandmother, who purchased them in 1951 from Braggins & Sons in Bedford, UK.  They were antiques when she bought them, most of them are 150 years old. Each bobbin is unique as are the antique glass spangles. The letter of sale from that transaction is pictured for reference only and is not included with the bobbins.
