Bernardaud company was founded in the 1800’s and is renowned for quality and elegant design.
This beautiful serving plate is in the elegant “Artois Vert” pattern. This particular pattern was introduced in 1974 in both the “Cluny” and “Versailles” shapes; it is the Versailles shape you see here, which can be recognized by the beautiful crosshatch and ridged details in the porcelain itself. The “Artois Vert” pattern has been discontinued, so it is increasingly difficult to find.
