Burke James Wet Plate Collodion 4x5 Large Format Camera w/ Accessories
For your consideration: 4x5 Burke & James camera for wet plate or traditional use. The camera has
NEW BELLOWS
that extend 12". The camera collapses as it should, all movements work and lock in place as expected. Camera wood appears in good condition with no splits or cracks. Camera does show wear as would be expected. The handle is intact.
The lens is a "NO NAME" darlot style lens. The glass is nice and clear with no noticeable separation. The lens covers 4x5 nicely (see last picture).
The NEW wet plate holder is made from cherry wood and will hold 3mm glass or metal plates (foam insert needs to be used for metal plates - not included). This holder is great for starting out. For heavier use, I would recommend the plastic wet plate holders provided by other suppliers.
The camera does come with (2) tradition 4x5 cut film holders.
The camera comes with (1) wet plate 4x5 tank and (1) dry rack.
I do accept returns if the wet plate holder, tank, and rack have not been used (up to 20 days from time camera was received). Camera must be in the same condition as received. Shipping charges are not refundable, and return shipping is at the buyers expense. Please look at the pictures as they are part of the description.
Camera will be shipped USPS or FEDEX w/ Tracking, Insurance, and signature upon receipt.
