French-Made KINAX Provence 6x9cm Camera, Export Version of the Senior
KINAX Provence for 8 negatives of size 6x9cm on 620 roll-film, made in France from 1950 to 1955. This is the export version for English-speaking countries of the Kinax Senior. The major change is the focusing scale in feet and an English-language manual.

The author expresses his personal opinion that the export versions (Picardy, Champagne, Provence, Riviera, Normandy, Alsace, Ardennes, Lorraine) were named after WWII battlefields to market the camera to American (and British) soldiers.
SOM KINN Berthiot 1:4.5 f=105 lens (serial number 668 198) in flash-synchronized IPO shutter (B, 1 - 1/350 sec) with built-in self-timer. Diaphragm setting from 4.5 to 32. Front-lens focusing with depth-of-field indicator. Folding optical finder with 0.6x magnification. Red window in the back door to help film advance.
The camera is in good condition and is fully functional. Shutter works at all speeds (including the slow speeds), flash contact fires external flash. Focusing action is smooth. Lens glass is clean, no signs of scratches, fungus, separation, etc.
Camera comes with the lower half of the cardboard box and the 20-page English-language manual. Buyer to pay actual USPS shipping cost (no handling fee). Estimated shipping weight is 3 pounds.
