Hobbes 256652ATK-R LANtest Pro and Tone Tracing Probe Kit is a small hand held tester that enables the user to quickly read the status of Ethernet twisted pair cables. It tests for faults such as open circuit, shorts, crossed pairs, reversed pairs and split pairs in seconds. The Tone Generator function can send a signal tone through your installed cables and with its probe can then trace and locate the cable. The LANtest Pro Kit includes one Main Unit, one Remote Unit and Tone Tracing Probe that can easily be operated by single individual testing patch cords, installed cables and/or locating cable. The remote unit is also designed to be inserted into the master unit to prevent loss, damage and on hand at all times. The LANtest Pro and Tone Tracing Probe Kit also includes a carrying case to easily transport the unit from job sites and locations.
