HTF 1958, X-326 SPACE PATROL FLYING SAUCER by MASUDAYA JAPAN / MODERN TOYS

Greetings,
For sale, I have a cool, old, tin space toy from 1958 - getting into that space race and sci fi!
This is the "Flying Saucer with Space Patrol" from Masudaya aka Modern Toys of Japan.
This cool old piece would have come with a plastic spinner that rested on top of the cockpit.
The idea was that the friction motor (from the wheels on the underside) causes the disc / spinner to whip up and into outer space.
Can you imagine taking this beauty outside and ripping it along the sidewalk to get the disc to fly?
No wonder most of these toys didn't make it this far...
This piece is in excellent display condition - slight age related wear and scuffing on the X-326 saucer.
There is more wear and some corrosion on the underside of the toy from scuffing, etc. - please review the photos.
Aside from the plastic piece that launched, this piece is complete with the launching platform, front wheel, and both rear wheels.
The friction motor is strong, and the launching platform works as it should.
Regarding the missing plastic disc - there are many contemporary toys that use similar discs, so a collector should be able to get a similar replacement if they desired.
(I'll include the little silver, plastic cone that another owner placed on the platform)
This X-326 Flying Saucer measures almost 7 inches long - to the tips of the rear fins.
