    Description

    Huge Antique 1930 Bernardaud Limoges Porcelain Floral & Gilt Platter Runnels. Condition is "Used".
    Platter measures about 18 x 14“. Very heavy. Runnels for the meat juices. Gilt trim, somewhat worn. No chips, cracks, or crazing. Minor soil where it doesn’t show much. This would almost certainly come off, but I’m not about to take a Brillo pad to a Limoges platter. Limoges started using this backstamp in 1900 and kept it about 40 years. The platter could be late Victorian, but the design is perhaps more typical of the 1930s. The platter will be packed and shipped with great care.
