    Description

    Item under consideration is a Vintage, 11 5/8
    inch wide, handled, serving Dish of the
    ‘Bengali (Cream, Regence)’ pattern from
    Bernardaud in Limoges, France.
    Dish is in
    extraordinary
    pristine condition.
    Production of porcelain pieces in the beautiful Bengali pattern, release began in 1972 and was discontinued in 1998.
    Bengali
    ’s elegant design consists of Hand Decorations of floral groupings situated at 5 locations equally spaced along the inside rim of the dish, on the edge (see photos #4 thru 8).
    A multicolored tropical bird is perched on a blossoming tree branch near the center (Photo #4). All are situated on a cream colored background.
    This
    beautiful design is
    comprised of many colors, pastel shadings of sage green foliage, violet, yellow, white, and pink
    blossoms.
    There is a gently embossed rim, scalloped edge with an intact 1/8 inch gold tone trim.
