This item in my EBAY store is a MILLERSBURG  "TROUT and FLY"  AMETHYST CARNIVAL GLASS SCALLOPED TOP ROUND ICE CREAM SHAPE BOWL.   This Millersburg "TROUT and FLY" amethyst carnival glass beautifully scalloped top bowl is in good condition having a very small nick on the collar foot of this beauty, there are NO cracks, scratches and no glass staining;   This MILLERSBURG "TROUT and FLY" scalloped top ruffled bowl is antique glass that has survived well over 100 years of survival and because of age has now become a beautiful family heirloom piece of glass, surely the couple of people who have once owned this American beauty surely cherished this piece of MILLERSBURG antique glass according to the condition this MILLERSBURG "TROUT and FLY" scalloped top bowl remains in today;   With the exception of this small nick on the collar foot of this beauty this MILLERSBURG "TROUT and FLY" bowl is just the way this beauty left the "MILLERSBURG GLASS FACTORY" many years ago, we all have to remember that this MILLERSBURG carnival glass was only produced over a three year period before the MILLERSBURG GLASS FACTORY burned down, ending the era of MILLERSBURG GLASS;   I may also add that this
MILLERSBURG  "TROUT and FLY"  AMETHYST CARNIVAL GLASS SCALLOPED TOP ROUND ICE CREAM SHAPED BOWL is an early vintage antique "MILLERSBURG" carnival glass scalloped top bowl that has been used and displayed over many years and still remains in beautiful heirloom condition;   MILLERSBURG did a good job IRIDIZING this "TROUT and FLY" bowl, the COLOR and IRIDESCENCE is shown on all the photos taken in the numerous angles and positions along with the "stippling" on the "flowers and leaves" causing this American beauty to shine, don't over look the unusual scalloped top, after all carnival glass is all.......about the COLOR and IRIDESCENCE;
I will also mention that this Millersburg "TROUT and FLY" scalloped top bowl that I have here does have those early carnival glass era characteristics of the early carnival glass making process having stress marks, straw marks and air bubbles sometimes seen inside the glass of early carnival glass, these characteristics are and can be seen inside the glass of this MILLERSBURG beauty that everyone wants to have in their collection, these characteristics were done during the production of this beautiful MILLERSBURG "TROUT and FLY" bowl and is NOT considered damage, all this info I just mentioned to you is shown in my numerous photos taken but any questions at all please e-mail me;   This MILLERSBURG "TROUT and FLY" highly sought after pattern is shown and talked about in one of my many reference materials, one is a hard back book by
