This item in my EBAY store is a MILLERSBURG  "RAYS & RIBBON"   GREEN CARNIVAL GLASS SIX RUFFLE SHAPED BOWL.   This MILLERSBURG "RAYS & RIBBON" green carnival glass six ruffle shaped bowl is antique glass that has survived well over 100 years of survival and because of age has now become a beautiful family heirloom piece of glass that is in excellent condition having NO chips, cracks, scratches, and no glass staining;   I may also add that this
MILLERSBURG  "RAYS & RIBBON"  GREEN CARNIVAL GLASS SIX RUFFLE SHAPED BOWL is an early vintage MILLERSBURG antique carnival glass bowl that has been used and displayed over many years and still remains in beautiful heirloom condition;   This green carnival glass "RAYS & RIBBON" Millersburg bowl is just the way this American beauty left the MILLERSBURG GLASS COMPANY surviving well over 100 years of survival;   The glass itself is thick glass, with that "stippling" effect in the pattern that Millersburg often used by this MILLERSBURG GLASS COMPANY, according to my reference material MILLERSBURG only produced their glass over a three year period before the MILLERSBURG factory burned down ending the era of MILLERSBURG GLASS;
I can not find any roughness or damage to this very much sought after pattern;   I find so little Millersburg carnival glass that I did not know that their carnival was even around any more, but I have my hands on a dandy "RAYS & RIBBON" ruffled bowl that is looking for a good home to sit on one's top shelf of the china cabinet, surely the couple of people who have once owned this American beauty surely cherrished this piece of MILLERSBURG antique glass according to the condition this green carnival glass MILLERSBURG "RAYS & RIBBON" bowl remains in today, it did not matter which angle or position I photographed this American beauty the COLOR and iridescence can be seen in my numerous photos taken, after all it is all about the............... COLOR and iridescence;   I believe I could live with a china cabinet full of this "RAYS & RIBBON" pattern;   The unusual pattern is what drew me into buying this bowl, as you can see in the photo's the back of this bowl also has a very beautiful pattern, "CACTUS" as a secondary pattern, now you are getting two patterns for the price of one, plus a very large 10" bowl, a lot of glass for your money, there is NO iridizing on the back of this bowl;
I will also mention that this Millersburg bowl that I have here does have the early carnival glass era characteristics of the early carnival glass making process having stress marks, straw marks, and air bubbles sometimes seen inside the glass of early carnival glass, these characteristics are from the production of this beautiful bowl and is NOT considered damage;   This MILLERSBURG "RAYS & RIBBON" much sought after pattern is shown and talked about in one of my many reference materials, one is a hard back book by,
"Edwards & Carwile" a book on carnival glass, the "STANDARD
