Near Mint Rollei HFT 35 S 35S 40mm f/2.8 SONNAR Film Camera w/ UV, Strap, Case

Here's an Excellent and Rare Rollei 35 S Compact 35mm Film Camera--- I think it's from the 1970's or thereabouts.
A rare HFT version that has the 40mm f/2.8 Sonnar lens.... and it comes with it's original Strap, Case and Rollei UV filter.
I'M not very familiar with this camera, have not shot any actual photos with it and I'm not a Camera Store technician.  But I can tell you it's in Beautiful Condition with only one tiny issue that doesn't detract from it too badly--- on the exterior,  there is a tiny ding at the front right corner (above the viewfinder window).  That's about it for cosmetic issues---- just a hint of a couple minor blemishes otherwise.
I put in a new battery and the shutter speeds sound good except the slowest ones--- from 1/15th on down are a little inconsistent--- and sometimes they stick.  The f-stop sets perfectly well and operates fine.
The viewfinder is bright and crystal clear.
Does the light meter work?  I don't know--- I don't see the needle move, but maybe I'm not doing something right.   Maybe from sitting so long it's stuck... I don't know----
but the camera operates manually without it.
And the lens glass is Gorgeous--- brilliant coatings and about as clear as can be expected--- no dust, no scratches, no haze, no fungus--- it's Mint!
So that's about all I can tell you--- I have not tested it with film and I'm not too familiar with all the mechanisms of this camera, but it still operates wonderfully, and with a little TLC, maybe even better.   The case is in Excellent condition--- a couple minor scuffs, and the strap and UV filter are perfect as well.

I can't guarantee that every single aspect may be Perfect... especially when it's a 40+ year old item!  Any significant defects that I know of are either pictured or described to the best of my knowledge and I try to be detailed and truthful. but I can't describe every every millimeter of it.   As expected with age, a used vintage camera could be found with a nick or blemishes here and there or a few additional specs of dust inside that I failed to mention, particularly inside the viewfinder... but they won't affect the photos and would hardly diminish it... unless you expect everything to be 100% Perfect.   If it's junk or even "C" Grade... I won't sell it!    What you see is what you'll get and I package my items well, so it arrives in the same condition as shown.
