Red tinplate friction astronaut robot with astronaut head under a clear plastic dome surmounted with a rotating four arm antenna. The robot has twin air tanks. Crank action with an inertia forward motion. Box says "Clear Plastic Helmet with Ray Counter". Also sold in a box variation as the Cragstan Astronaut. KO On sale in November 1962.
Small paint specks missing as sign of age. Dome is clear. 4 Spin Ray Counter has bright chrome luster still. Robot rolls forward straight and level . A brilliant piece. A must have for collectors or to start your collection.
