Set of 6 Vintage Mini Pie Pans, 1950’s, Fluted Edge.
Here is a cute set of mid-century era mini pie pans/ tartlets-from a time when desserts and pies were in their heyday, that is before so many became concerned with healthy eating and lessening sugar and fat. I’m sure these little pans have seen their share of pies, sweet and savory pot pies over the years. They are just so cute with their little fluted edges and rolled rims, made nicer than pans are made nowadays. A pie from these has got to taste better, especially if you’re a kid! These are substantial little seamless stainless steel pans (they’re magnetic). With a diameter of 5 7/8 in and depth of 1 1/2 in, they can hold an ample size serving of whatever you serve in them. They are in good used condition, two have a small dent or two on the bottom and one in particular has some superficial rust. A nice little set with a lot of character!
