Vintage Zippo Navy Seals Raised Emblem Brass For Parts Repair USN United States

Description

I cannot make out any date code on the zippo. The bottom is pretty worn. The hinge will need to be replaced. The inside lighter mechanism has the iii emblem on it. I’m not sure if the lighter insert is original to the body or not. There is some powdery substance and a loose spring inside the fuel soaking cotton area.
The lighter has been well used and has some corrosion and a significant amount of wearing.
