You are bidding on the ever popular and somewhat amazing Yashica T4D (Date) 35mm camera with stunning Carl Zeiss T* lens. This model is the T4D which has a date window on the back of the film door.
Condition: Very good, the only flaw is the latch for the battery door is broken, I removed a small piece of tape that was used to keep it closed. I tested the camera without the tape and still had full functionality. I will apply another small piece for shipping. Light scratching and dust particles.
Functionality: Tested with Fujifilm 100. The lens covers opens fully when turned on and the lens moves in and out of the body correctly. The light meter and flash are working perfectly. The film will load and advance. My only issue when testing was it did not auto rewind at the end of the roll of film. I used the manual rewind feature and it worked perfectly. I only tested one roll of film so I do not know if that will occur again.
The optics are clean, free of scratches or fungus. The shutter works perfectly.
Also included is a small leather carry case and lanyard. Battery is not included due to air shipping.
